Octagon Music Society runs a season of world-class classical chamber music concerts in Watford’s Clarendon Muse Concert Hall every year. Now in its fifth decade, the society offers a wide-ranging programme of music to its audiences, and engages a mix of established artists alongside young musicians of promise and early achievement. Among its myriad range of performers, Octagon Music Society has welcomed such names as Steven Isserlis, Felicity Lott, the Brodsky String Quartet, Florilegium and the Hilliard Ensemble, to name but a few. It has premiered works given by composers such as John McCabe, as well as enjoying the standard classics that are loved by all.
